Deposit Refunds:

  • Cooling off period of 7 days
    (within this period we reserve the price, but not the stock; beyond 7 days we reserve both)

Delivery

  • Currently we offer standard (palleted kerbside delivery typically within 2-4 working days Mon-Fr) FREE delivery options available on orders over £750 (£500 on selected brands/lines) on flooring and over £1000 on tiles inclusive of VAT.
  • Click & Collect service available on selected lines/brands only if you are ok to collect from us.
  • Special order products likely to take longer (please check with us).
  • If order value below free delivery threshold then flat rates apply of £48 for flooring & £80 for tiles for standard delivery. Excludes Accessories ordered on its own.
  • Minimum order for accessories is £300 plus delivery charge
  • Express (1-2 days) available at extra charge on certain lines, Weekend deliveries available at extra charge on certain lines & Premium White Glove Service (bring goods into property) deliveries are possible available at extra charge on certain lines.
  • Most items would be delivered from the supplier’s warehouse and handled within 1-2 days and delivered within 2-4 days working days.
  • Important note: if we are fulfilling Best Prise Promise Price Match, we may not be able to apply the above rates, FREE delivery thresholds and other aspects of this T&C.

Returns

Here we try to make everything as Easy and hassle free as possible, but still often restricted by the suppliers/manufacturers policies. Often those policies influenced by batch production and matching capacity of the older returned products with the new batches (particularly important for tiled products). So please see below generic and brand by brand return policies:

If you changed your mind or there was a change in your circumstances return part or the entire order after the goods have been delivered to you:

  • Within 14 days for flooring & 7 days for tiles on unopened, unused, undamaged packs.
    For a refund: 20-40% re-stocking fee applies depending on brand plus any transport costs
  • For a store credit (brand exclusion applies, please see below individual brand policies): 100% store credit, transport expenses likely also to applied, but sometimes we can avoid it.
  • Unfortunately, no returns accepted on perishable items – like cement bags, grouts, adhesives. (Effectively anything in paper bags that can be badly affected by moisture, damp environment).
  • Also, No returns accepted on Accessories like T-bars, Ramps, Trims, Underlay, Etc.
  • Also, no returns accepted on any of the special-order items (please check on product description page or message us to check if unsure; if the item is a special order, we always check with you first before processing it)

Return of unused packs that are unopened and not damaged can be easily returned to us on the following basis:

  • EFS (our house brand) – within 30 days from delivery date less 20% re-stocking fee or 100% store credit less transport costs (if applicable).
  • Woodpecker – within 30 days from delivery date less 20% re-stocking fee or 100% store credit less transport costs (if applicable).
  • Ted Todd – within 30 days from delivery date less 20% re-stocking fee.
  • Floorify – within 30 days from delivery date less 20% re-stocking fee.
  • Berry Alloc – All of Berry Alloc wood flooring product lines are special order from Europe and therefore are non-returnable.
  • Invictus – within 30 days from delivery date for a refund less re-stocking fee 40% less transport costs (if applicable). No store credit option available.
  • Brampton Chase – within 30 days from delivery date for a refund less re-stocking fee 25% less transport costs (if applicable). No store credit option available.
  • Moduleo – within 14 days from delivery date for a refund less re-stocking fee 40% less transport costs (if applicable). No store credit option available.
  • Quick-Step / ELKA – within 30 days from delivery date for a refund less re-stocking fee 40% or in full for store credit less transport costs (if applicable).
  • Minoli – only while the same batch still available within 7 days for refund less re-stocking fee 25% or in full for store credit less transport costs (if applicable).
  • Floor & Wall – only while the same batch still available within 7 days for a refund less re-stocking fee 25% or in full for store credit less transport costs (if applicable).

 

Warranty

  • EFS – please refer to product page info for individual products as it varies between 20 years to lifetime residential warranty.
  • Woodpecker – 100 years on any wood (ex. Lynton); 25 years on Stratex Lynton & Brecon
  • Ted Todd – line dependent, refer to datasheet.
  • Berry Alloc – line dependent
    Parquet Les Essentiels Wood – 15 years
    Parquet Les Exclusifs Wood – 30 years
    Grand Avenue & other HPL; Ocean+, Pure – lifetime residential warranty
  • Moduleo LayRed – lifetime residential warranty
  • Quick-Step - 25 years residential warranty

Best Price Promise

We aim to price match like for like – you just need to provide us with a formal copy of the better quote from elsewhere (a snapshot of a webpage or a link would do also, but need to see all the info including name, T&C or the sale etc).

In certain cases, the sale may be qualified as a special order and become not returnable and delivery charges may apply even if the order is above the free delivery threshold


 

Full Terms & Conditions

Much in the way we want to make it easy for you to purchase great value flooring products, we also want to make these areas of our website easy to use and without any confusing jargon.

By accessing any areas of www.easyfloorstore.co.uk  the user acknowledges the notices, and agrees to the terms and conditions, set out below. Easy Floor Store (“Easy Floor Store”, “EFS”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) owns and operates the web site. When we receive an internet order you will always get an e-mail confirming your order placed on our website.

We try our best to process all the orders within a reasonable time frame and according to the delivery options of your choice. If, however, goods cannot be mailed within a reasonable time we will e-mail you to advise you of this and, if there is to be a delay, determine if you wish to continue with the transaction or offer you the opportunity to cancel your order.

  1. Modification of these conditions:

These conditions may be modified or varied. We will not be deemed to accept any other conditions do not waive any of these conditions by failing to object to provisions contained in any purchase order or other communications from the Buyer. No person has authority on behalf of the Company to vary any conditions except by a written variation signed by a director or the company secretary.

1.1. We only accept orders after the goods purchased online have been delivered. The processing of payment and acknowledgement of an online order DO NOT constitute a legally binding contract.

  1. Validity of quotations:

Quotations from the Company are stated to be open for such time as may be specified in each such quotation and provided it is not withdrawn by the Company in such period it remains capable of acceptance. No binding contract will be created by the acceptance by the Buyer of the Company’s quotation until notice of such acceptance has been given in a purchase order and has either been signed by the Company’s duly authorised representative or the Company has indicated to the Buyer orally or in writing its acceptance of such order.

  1. How these conditions apply:

If the Buyer places an order with the Company without requesting a quotation from the Company or before such quotation has been provided, all deliveries carried out in satisfaction of such order will be subject to these conditions.

  1. Prices:

Unless otherwise agreed in writing all orders are executed subject to prices and any relevant discounts ruling at the date of receipt of the order and any price list of the Company whether published or not will not affect the right of the Company to charge for Goods in accordance with this clause. All prices are subject to the addition of Value Added Tax at the appropriate rate. Payment of the Price quoted, and the VAT must be paid at sale, prior to delivery arrangements being made.

  1. Our right to adjust rates & prices:

In the event of termination, variation, or suspension of a contract on the Buyer’s instruction or by lack of instruction, the contract price will be adjusted to reflect the additional costs incurred by the Company. Where a price per unit has been quoted and the Buyers requires a smaller number of units to be delivered than those quoted for, the Company reserves the right to adjust the rates of prices applicable thereto.

  1. Delivery

UK Mainland Delivery

Fast Delivery:

We aim to deliver in two to five working days, or on your preferred date of delivery, however we cannot guarantee your chosen day or the speed of our deliveries as they are fulfilled by 3rd parties.

Delivery Options:

For other delivery options please e-mail or call (details on the last page). Our customer service team can advise you on alternative shipping arrangements and their charges.

Delivery Process:

To keep you informed throughout the entire delivery process, when we receive your order, you are sent an e-mail order confirmation, followed by a notification of dispatch when your order has left our warehouse. You may also get SMS updates by the courier company.

How your order is delivered:

Deliveries are made ‘kerbside’. Handling the goods is the responsibility of the recipient of the goods. When making a large order we advise to plan and arrange a second pair of hands to help if you are receiving lots of boxes, especially if your order is for a room not on the ground floor. Please note: This applies to flats, tower blocks, high rises etc.

Missing Items:

If for any reason your order did not arrive within 1-5 working days, please contact us straight away. If after a couple of days your order has still not reached you, we will investigate and, if necessary, send you some new items to replace the ones you have not received.

Failed Deliveries:

If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because there is nobody home, there’s inadequate help available, the goods are refused, or the order is cancelled whilst in transit (goods are in transit 72 hours before the chosen delivery date) you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for the goods being returned.

Late delivery /non-delivery liability:

Easy Floor Store cannot be held liable for any late or non-deliveries and shall incur no liability to pay any compensation on any lined-up labour costs or any other delay-related cost occurred. We would do out best to make sure you products will arrive on time, but it advised not to book final installation works until you physically received the product.

  1. Condition of Goods

Faulty Goods:

If you have faulty, missing, or incorrect goods then please contact a member of our customer service team via e-mail or phone (details on the last page) within 24h. No claim will be accepted after that.

In the unlikely event that any of the items in your order are faulty, you have 24h days after delivery to let us know. We will ask you to return the damaged or faulty goods to us straight away. Shipping charges on returned items are at the customer’s expense and we do not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit.

  1. Missing or Damaged Goods:

If you find that any items in your order from us have been lost or damaged in transit, please make sure that this is noted down on the carrier’s delivery note and contact us immediately.
Please note: We cannot accept claims for missing or damaged goods after the carrier has left the delivery address, unless they have been signed for as damaged or missing.

Product damage or defects: Easy Floor Store agrees to make good all such defects which are the result of faulty design, materials, or workmanship by carrying out repairs or replacement delivery of the goods, but Easy Floor Store shall incur no liability to pay compensation because of such defects.

When the buyer collects the goods (including third party collections on behalf of the buyer) or receives the delivery of the goods, it is the buyer's responsibility to check the goods description, quantity, and condition. The Buyer should notify Easy Floor Store in written confirmation of any product defects, wrong, short, or damaged goods within 24 hours after collection or delivery date. Easy Floor Store only agrees to deal with the damaged, missing, or wrong goods that have been clearly written on the collection note or delivery note.

If the buyer fails to do so within 24 hours, the goods are considered as acceptable to the buyer and Easy Floor Store shall incur no liability afterwards. The buyer/fitter must read the installation instruction clearly before fitting (instructions can be found inside the box, if not, please do request a copy from our office before installation).

Always PROCEED WITH A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE FLOORING BEFORE INSTALLATION.

The installer or user assumes all responsibility for final inspection of product quality. ONCE INSTALLED OR USED, THE FLOORING ARE CONSIDERED ACCEPTED BY THE INSTALLER AND THE OWNER.

  1. Your responsibility:

You, the customer/recipient of your purchased goods must check that all flooring products are in perfect condition before using them.

We cannot accept any claims for damaged, faulty, or mis-described items once they have been used or fitted. Such use or fitting shall be taken as proof that the buyer or his agent has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition.

You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the items ordered for the purpose to which they are used.

  1. Our returns and Cancellation Policy:

We pride ourselves in supplying top quality goods at great value. However, sometimes projects do not go to plan, or we change our minds. Here are our jargon-free terms for Returns and Cancellations.

  1. Your right to cancellation or return of your purchase and leftovers.

We will be happy to issue a refund on receipt of goods in an unopened, unused, and undamaged condition. See Below:

Change of Mind (within 14 days of the delivery date for Wooden Floors and 7 days of the delivery date for tiles; relevant restocking fee and delivery/collection charges apply):

If you change your mind, you can cancel your order after the day of delivery with the return of goods back to our showroom at your expense. A restocking fee will be applied (20-40% depending on brand).

Change of Mind (after 14 days of the delivery date for wooden floors):

After 14 days we can still refund or exchange your goods, but you will be charged up to 40% restocking fee (restrictions apply).

  1. Faulty Goods:

If your order arrives with a manufacturing fault, report this within 24 hours and we will make all the necessary arrangements to have the goods replaced without cost to you.

How to return your purchase:

  1. Please contact us via e-mail or phone (details on the last page) to start the returns process
    2. Our customer service team will supply you with a returns number.
    3. Send the goods back to us. The returns address will be specified.
    Once the goods have been received, we will start the process of refunding you using the details provided at purchase.

Your responsibilities when returning your order:

  • You are responsible for arranging courier transport and for the safe return of goods (making sure they are well protected).
  • Costs for damaged goods will be taken from the total amount refunded.
  • Please remember, in all situations where there is no manufacturing fault, you are responsible for returning the goods to us, at your expense, in complete, unused, and in “as new” condition and within 30 days of purchase.

Products that cannot be returned:

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for products which are bespoke, made to your specifications or cut from a roll unless they are faulty.
  • No refunds on accessories, adhesive, door bars, underlay, mails or beading etc, etc.
  • No refunds on special order products.

When we have the right to decline your return request:

In some circumstances we may refuse your return, with the following reasons.

  • If you no longer want an item (e.g., because it is the wrong size or colour) unless you bought it without seeing it.
  1. Failed Deliveries:

  1. Ownership of the Goods:

Ownership of the Goods will not pass to the Buyer until the Company has received in full (in cash or cleared funds) all sums due to it in respect of the Goods and all other sums which are, or which become due to the Company from the Buyer on any account.

  1. Descriptive matter, Specifications & Illustrations:

All descriptive and forwarding specifications, drawings and particulars of weights and dimensions issued by the Company are approximate only and intended only to present a general idea of the goods to which they refer and will not form part of the contract. All particulars are provided by the manufacturer.

  1. Legal Construction:

Unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing, these conditions will in all respects be construed and operate as an English contract, in conformity with English Law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  1. Force Majeure:

The Company will not be liable to the Buyer in any matter or be deemed to be in breach of this contract because of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of the Company’s obligations under this contract if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control.

  1. Clearance items & Special offers:

Goods bought from promotional offers that are offered as clearance or end of line will be refundable at the sale price only. If the item is no longer stocked by the company, there will be no material replacement. Credit can be issued against a replacement product.
We will have no liability (other than imposed by the unfair contract terms act 1977), for any direct injury, loss, or damage whatsoever, if the cause thereof lies beyond the reasonable control of the Company. Your statutory rights are not affected by the above exclusions.
